Horticultural Lighting
In most gardens, whether they are commercial gardens or hobby gardens, the sun provides all the lighting needs of the plants. Sometimes, however, due to bad weather, harsh winters, or just plain lack of outdoor space, we need to supplement or even replace the sunlight altogether. Fluorescent Lighting
Fluorescent Lighting
Fluorescent Lighting is a very efficient form of lighting, and is ideal for growing house plants or propagating cuttings and seedlings. For full growth of sun loving plants, High Intensity Discharge lighting is more suited. Fluorescent lighting fixtures come in 2' or 4' versions and are 1' wide with provisions for 2 tubes. For the best of growth we stock Cool White in 18 watt (2') & 36 watt (4'), Grolux in 18 watt (2') & 36 watt (4'). For propagation, a combination of grolux and cool white tubes are ideal.
For small propagation boxes, a small Propagation Light is available. It consists of a small reflector with a 20 watt PL compact fluorescent lamp.

Spectrum Compact Fluorescent
The NEW Spectrum 80W, 130W & 250W compact fluorescent lamps combine the efficiency of fluorescent lamps with an increased power output for total plant growth. It will screw into any HPS lampholder and it needs a Spectrum Adaptor to plug into the power.
